he continue to see that. thank you. >> the obama administration said it has met it's deadline to fix the healthcare.gov website. the administration promised all would be well in november. we will gather to the white house with more details, mike, this was a big deadline for the administration. are all the problems with the website solved? >> reporter: they aren't all solved but they say its like night and day after that disastrous launch of octobe october 1st. they cite certain benchmarks, certain metrics, error rates down to 1%. they were 6% at the outset of this debacle in the estimation of administration officials. as many as 800,000 a day and they achieved 90% functionality. you recall that by the end of last month, november 31st they had promised an 80% functionality. by their own estimation they have exceeded that. but that's by their own estimation. for the time being we'll have to take their word for it. it's all a anecdotal at this point. there are questions about the website's security when people are entering sensitive personal information and data, and about insurers on

shows 37% are not familiar with obama care. good to see both of you today. >> thank you for having us. emily, how do you sustain this program with the glitches. you look at this poll. the young people who you need to sign up, only 63% are aware of what it is. what is going on? >> it is not all that surprise that go young people are the category that have the least information. they have the least contact with the health care system all together. if we look at what is actually happening and the states release the numbers of who is signing up. we are seeing that the quarter of the people who are signing up overall, kentucky has year a a third. young people are actually signing up under the law and are continuing to do so. if your friend signs up, you will be more interested in going into it. chris, these numbers are dismal for this administration right now. supposedly they needed the 7.5 million to make this thing run. it doesn't look like you could possibly get there. it doesn't. speaking of the friends and neighbors policy, that it is going to cost them more than what they thought. th

, marjorie, a former consultant to the obama campaign. thanks for joining us this morning. marjorie, i think most people understand in a bad economy a lot of people trying to live off fast food worker wages very tough, sympathetic to the idea of raising their wages. when workers get too expensive businesses replace workers. so we will see automated ordering, won't we, at fast food places? >> look, in order to raise any kind of salary you're obviously going to -- or any kind of wage you're going to have to change the business model a little bit. it means things will cost a little more, there will have to be a shift in the workers. you have to look at the long-term outcome. you pay workers more in the long run, end up with more americans which can spend pore money which grows businesses and our economy having these low wage workers puts on our systems like social security and medicaid, we end up paying almost $900 billion to bank tellers alone, low wage bank tellers, to subsidize their living. we pay for it one way or the other. >> that's an interesting point, michael. what's your response? in

. >> ambassador, thank you so much. >> heads may be starting to roll in the wake of the disast rg rollout of obama care. a top maryland official in charge of that state's obama care exchange is reportedly resigning now. and this would be the first official to lose a job in light of the troubles surrounding the insurance exchanges. national correspondent steve sun somy joins me now from washington with more on the story. >> not only the federal obama care website that had its difficulties. some sof the state-run exchanges got off to a rocky start. rebecca pearce resigned friday. according to our affiliate in baltimore, some are suggesting she was forced out of office after two years on the job. in maryland, they signed up just over 3,000 people by november 23rd, and about a week later, only about 7,000 more had been signed up. the goal by the end of march is 150,000, so clearly, there's a long way to go. the lieutenant governor is saying things clearly did not go as planned with that website. >> everyone involved in launching the exchange is responsible, and that includes me. >> as for the federal
